Below are two events where transit issues will be discussed, please feel free to attend either event if you would like.

1)  West Asheville Library at 6:30 pm on April 11 for a discussion of "Sustainable Transportation:  A Future Worth Creating" led by UNC Asheville engineering professor Dave Erb.  The program will begin with an overview (PowerPoint) of transportation energy and emissions issues, then proceed to one vision of a sustainable future.  Ample time for audience participation and discussion will be included.

In three decades as an automotive engineer, Dave Erb has developed vehicles employing gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, natural gas, alcohol, electric, and (since 1986) hybrid electric powertrains.    Dave is a former chair of the Wenoca Group of the Sierra Club and a current member of the Asheville Transit Commission.
